For Advent / Christmas 2025/26

Adult Forum Advent plans: We will take a break from our Lost Christianities lecture series in Advent and Christmas to spend some time with a 2008 book by Paula Gooder called The Meaning is in the Waiting.  There are a variety of ways to access the book: Rev. Catharine has eight copies she can distribute; it is available on Kindle; and Rev. Catharine has a PDF of the English edition (mostly the same as the US edition) that she can share.

Here’s the overall plan:

• November 30: We will familiarize ourselves with the book and spend a little time talking about the foreword and the introduction
• December 7: We will discuss Chapter 1
• December 14: We will discuss Chapter 2
• December 21; We will discuss Chapter 3
• December 28: Christmas Break!
• January 4: We will discuss Chapter 4 and return to the Introduction
