Baptism

Baptism is the sacramental act through which the church incorporates people into the body of Christ. It is the beginning of a journey of discipleship and growth. Baptisms are celebrated as part of the Sunday morning worship service, and we take seriously the pledge we make to do all in our power to support the persons we baptize in their new life in Christ. While there are particular days in the church calendar that are most appropriate to baptism, the clergy are always happy to discuss arrangements for this joyous event.

Weddings

A wedding is a sacramental blessing of the mutual love of two persons in Christ. “It is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently and deliberately”, and therefore requires considerable preparation. The clergy are always happy to discuss arrangements for this joyous event.

Funerals

The death of a loved one is an occasion of deep sorrow. It is also a time for the church to offer comfort to the bereaved, to assist family members in planning a service that will express thanksgiving for the departed, and to witness to the assurance of eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. Please contact the Rector directly to make arrangements for a funeral.  A planning guide is is available for those who wish to select scripture readings and hymns in advance.

If you are interested in reserving a plot in our graveyard, you may contact our Sexton through the church office.
