Constellation Planning Meeting, March 2025

At this month’s meeting of the ‘Charles County Constellation’ churches, Rev. Catharine, Vestry Representative Sue Kaspar, and our partners from St James’, Wayside, La Plata, and EDOW learned of a couple of set-backs to our process: Christ Church La Plata is having to address some emergent financial issues, and the position description has not yet been posted.  We trust that La Plata’s issues can be resolved.  As soon as the position description is posted, the Constellation team will start sharing it on social media and through the Episcopal and Lutheran seminaries and their hiring networks. In the meantime, we discussed ways of gathering information about what kind of community ministry might be most welcome with our neighbors.  We resolved to ask folks at our Pancake Suppers and whenever the opportunity arises.
